SAI Gulf, LLC, is a joint venture of Sampling Associates International (SAI), LLC, of Virginia, and Sabine Surveyors, Ltd. of Texas.

Specializing in the sampling and analysis of solid fuels such as: coal, coke and petroleum coke in the Gulf of Mexico region of the United States, SAI Gulf, LLC, samples over 50 million tons of dry bulk commodities in the US Gulf annually.

SAI is a partnership of four (4) American owned testing labs: Hampton Roads Testing, Andrew S. McCreath & Son, Standard Laboratories and Tidewater Coal Inspection Bureau. The SAI Group has more than 40 laboratories in the United States. Hampton Roads Testing, Tidewater Coal and A.S. McCreath serve the coal export markets on the East Coast while Standard Labs network covers the entire inland United States.

Sabine Surveyors brings to the group the full range of services in marine and commodity surveying, inspection, and consulting. Sabine has a particular expertise within the petroleum coke industry. Sabine has strategically placed office locations in the U.S. Gulf and East Coast.
