SAI Gulf operates three laboratories in the U.S. Gulf; La Marque, Texas, LaPlace, Louisiana, and Jasper, Alabama. Our laboratories providing customers with accurate analytical testing using ASTM and ISO methodology with efficient turn-around times.
Our laboratories provide a complete range of analytical testing to meet the requirements of all parties involved in a transaction.
We sample dry bulk commodities throughout the U.S. Gulf; currently operate and maintain seventeen mechanical sampling systems with a throughput of over 35 million tons a year in the U.S. Gulf. These mechanical sampling systems perform with an average uptime of 98%. In addition to mechanical sampling, we also conduct manual sampling of approximately 17 million tons a year in the U.S. Gulf.
Barge Draft Surveys
We provide the expertise to conduct barge draft surveys for cargoes loaded onto or discharged from hopper barges. Barge draft surveys require knowledge of barge construction, proper survey equipment and awareness of survey conditions to ensure a survey is conducted with a high degree of accuracy.
We are able to provide our clients with accurate inventory accounting by use of the latest technology. By using these technologies, we are able to generate our reports in a timely manner. We offer our clients three different methods of quantifying inventory.
